I think I’ve found a new most-ridiculous AfD: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Big_Science
Every time I visit AfD, it’s more depressing than the last time. It’s pretty much to the point now where the majority of what’s being deleted is worthwhile content (if under-referenced), and I think the AfD rate may be increasing.

Sage, this may be a good topic for a dedicated podcast — State of AfD, and the new culture of inclusion/deletion. There’s hardly an episode where we don’t comment on this shift and note the latest AfD of note. Thanks for your comment.
